CRISPY FRIED CHICKEN AND RICE PILAF WITH ORZO

Ingredients:



  • 1 Ib chicken breast, sliced
  • 1 egg
  • 1 packet tarhana soup, for coat
  • oil, for frying

    1. Beat egg in a bowl.


    2. Cut the chicken into small pieces.

      • Dip the chicken pieces into egg and tarhana soup.
      • Fill a large skillet with oil and heat until very hot.
      • Place the chicken into the skillet and  fry the chicken until it’s golden brown.

      You can serve crispy fried chicken with rice pilaf.

      RICE PILAF WITH ORZO


      Ingredients:
      • 1 cup rice, washed and drained
      • 1/2 tablespoon salt to taste
      • 1 tablespoon butter
      • 2 tablespoon orzo
      • 1 cup chicken broth
      • 1 cup water
      Melt the butter in cooking pot and add the orzo and stirring continuously over medium heat until they turn dark brown.Then add the rice, stirring occasionally for 5 minutes.Then add 1 cup chicken broth, 1 cup water and salt. Close the lid and bring to a boil.After cook over low heat until the rice absorbs all the water.Then leave for a rest 5-10 minutes.
      Ready to serve…
